A Note From The Chair of Governors

Hello.  I'm Cathryn Wilkinson, the Chair of the Governing Body at Warren Hills Community Primary School.  I am proud to have been a governor here for over four years.  My career in Primary School Teaching and more recently in Advice supporting the Early Years Curriculum, led to my position as Children's Centre Teacher at Warren Hills.  This has given me real "hands on" knowledge of the Nursery, Sure Start facilities, as well as the school.  I feel I have a good understanding of the Community and families that Warren Hills Community School is engaged with.

I believe it is the right of every child to receive an outstanding quality of education.  This should be through enjoyment of a rich school experience which reflects their needs.  I am confident that our school offers this.  An excellent head teacher, leading a committed and dedicated staff, working together in partnership with parents and families promote this ethos.  I am proud to support the school and promote this ethos.

"The pupils achieve well because they are taught well.  The curriculum includes a wide range of enrichment activities." - Ofsted.

The governing body meets regularly to discuss the progress of the school and to plan for the future.  All of the governors are working to improve the school for our families.

As governors we are extremely proud of our school and continue to uphold the school motto -

"Learning together in Friendship"
